Math

Without those things, there is no long-term learning. The best system to understand math and its complexities, tricks, and secrets, comes from Singapore – a global reference in this discipline.

That is where our math-teaching systems comes from, as well as the training of our teachers.

Arts

Development motor coordination and emotional intelligence are known benefits of studying arts. But that is not all. By studying Arts, the students learn about History, Geography, and Politics. They learn Anatomy, Chemistry, Physics, and everything on practice, using paints, clay, wood, paper, several tools, and multicultural techniques. Through Arts, the students understand the multiplicity of being human, its geniality, and capacity for expansion and expression.

Musicalization

Understanding a music score is to solve math equation with the eyes, the brain, the lungs, and the heart. It is integrating body with soul. It is surrendering oneself completely to the whole; Music can only be good for children. And, if it is good, it is part of Red House International School’s curriculum.

Sports

Sports in school. In this game, everybody wins.

Every child needs to practice sports, and not just to spend some energy. The practice of group sports is key for the social formation and development of an individual. Health-wise, it improves the respiratory system, strengthen the muscles, balances the metabolism, and favor the production of the hormones that are responsible for growth, fat burning, and acceleration of reasoning.

Sports provides fun and wellbeing, creates disciplines and imposes rules. It makes the children know their limits and potentials, promotes respect to colleagues and team spirit. It is included in our curriculum as a tool to enable the youngsters to deal with their needs and limits, their desires and expectations, as well as developing their technical, social, and communications competencies.

In here, sports are for more than just stretching the muscles: it makes thought more flexible and also prolongs the desire to be with friends, in the school.

Social-emotional skills

Learning to learn, creating solutions for problems, these are skills that require emotional structure.

Our methodology understands that, without that, there is no long-term learning. In order to learn, we need to enjoy learning, and understand that such teaching makes sense both now and in the future.
