Sitting in a 11,000 m2 plot with over 7,600 m2 built are, the new Red House concept school is located in a privileged region near Villa-Lobos Park, in the capital of São Paulo.
The space is being completely transformed to house a megastructure with state-of-the-art facilities emulating the most modern schools in the world.
With large open areas for sports, pedagogical and social interactions, the new Red House Villa-Lobos Innovation Experience Campus enables learning to go beyond its classrooms. In addition to the multi-sports courts, sand courts and sports tracks, the new school also has an indoor gymnasium to house championships and large events. There is also a building attached to the sports complex, with changing rooms and a modern recording studio with state-of-the-art equipment.
The vast campus buildings hold complete structures with classrooms, science and stem laboratories, makerspaces, arts rooms, large auditoriums, libraries and cafeterias. The buildings also house open lounges and outdoor spaces that will be used for pedagogical activities and social gatherings among students.
All the new campus spaces were strategically designed. Natural ventilation predominates in all built areas that also count with natural light and efficient acoustics.
Out of respect for the surrounding community, and to provide greater comfort and safety to families, internal access roads were built in the complex to facilitate the entry and exit of students, without disrupting the local traffic.
And, like the Pacaembu and Higienópolis campuses, the new school aims to be an IB (International Baccalaureate) World School, one of the most demanding and important international educational accreditation in the world, accepted by national and international schools and universities.
